Refund policy
We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be in the same condition as received
- Be unworn or unused
- Have original tags attached
- Be in the original packaging
- Include proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for a refund.
How to start a return
To request a return, please contact us at info@jarkensydney.com before sending your item. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Once approved, we will provide full instructions on how and where to send your item.
Return shipping costs
- If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will cover the return shipping costs.
- If the item is not damaged and the correct item was delivered, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
- Items must be sent via tracked shipping only (e.g. Australia Post with tracking). Returns sent without a tracking number cannot be accepted.
- Please share your proof of postage and tracking number with us after dispatch.
Restocking fee
A 30% restocking fee applies to approved returns where the item is not defective, damaged, or incorrect. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Example: If your order was $100, your refund will be $70.
No restocking fee applies to returns of defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue. In these cases, no restocking fee applies and we will cover all return shipping costs.
Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for returns:
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Perishable goods
- Personal care items
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us within the same 30-day return window. The original item must be returned and pass inspection before a new order is processed. A 30% restocking fee applies unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: within 10 business days
- A 30% restocking fee will be deducted where applicable
Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund.

Australian Consumer Law
Our policy is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
